This page separates questions about this private guide from requests for official Sauk County court dockets and case records. The Sauk County Clerk of Courts or the court that heard the matter handles most record needs. Use the routes below to reach the right official source.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull dockets, change or reset court dates, remove or seal cases, issue certified copies, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the clerk of court or the trial court directly.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Official Sauk County Circuit Court requests should be routed as follows:

  • A docket sheet: run a case lookup through WCCA, or request the record from the Clerk
  • A court date or setting: check the court dates, then confirm the setting with the Clerk
  • Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
  • A specific case: search WCCA by party name or case number
  • Court records and case files: contact the Clerk of the court that heard the case

For county-level dockets and records, contact the Sauk County Clerk of Courts at the Historic Courthouse, 510 Broadway Street, Baraboo, WI 53913. The office phone is (608) 355-3287. Normal hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Confirm the destination before visiting for a restricted file, certification, or other special request.
