Why We Built This Site
Wisconsin provides public access to qualifying court information, yet the correct custodian depends on the court. WCCA carries public Sauk County Circuit Court summaries. The Sauk County Clerk of Courts maintains the underlying Circuit Court file and handles copy requests. Baraboo, Reedsburg, and Sauk Prairie municipal matters use local clerks, state appeals use WSCCA, and Western District federal cases use PACER. We organize those official routes, case-number clues, and request steps without presenting any search result as proof of conduct.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how Sauk County criminal dockets and civil dockets are found and read
- Court dates: how to check court settings and confirm a scheduled event
- Case lookups: how to use a party name or case number in the official search
- Record requests: how to seek court records and certified copies from the Clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Wisconsin court, clerk, or state agency. Those limits mean we cannot perform official court functions:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that a phone number, fee, or setting remains current
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
